What is Camp Royal?
Rio Vista Rotary Club is a part of Rotary District 5160. The District runs a Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) Conference organized each June in the mountains of northern California. The 71 Rotary Clubs of Rotary International District 5160 have been providing this leadership learning opportunity since 1979.
This is a premier leadership training opportunity provided to worthy young people by our Rotary Clubs, as part of Rotary’s Youth Programs mission.
Who Can Attend?
The program is open to outstanding high school juniors who will enter their senior year in the fall of 2019.
For 2019, the 71 Rotary Clubs of District 5160 will host 140 outstanding high school students chosen from the schools in our Northern California area.
When Will It Occur?
This year’s program will run from Sunday June 9 to Saturday June 15, 2019. You can view more about the program, including a video about last year’s program, at the 2019 Camp Royal website.
